Orts- und kontextbezogene Dienste im Youngster-Projekt (Location- and Context-Aware Services in the Youngster Project)

Um neue, attraktive mobile Dienste für junge Benutzer zu finden, konzentriert sich das Youngster-Projekt auf solche Anwendungen, die den Kontext des Benutzers nutzen und sich so an dessen aktuelle Situation anpassen. In diesem Artikel stellen wir eine Plattform für mobile Dienste vor, die im Rahmen dieses Projektes entwickelt wird. Sie enthält u. a. eine Komponente, die es Diensten erlaubt, auf einheitliche Weise einfach auf Kontextinformationen zuzugreifen. Weiter werden orts- bzw. kontextabhängige Dienste vorgestellt, die auf dieser Plattform aufbauen.
In order to find new, attractive mobile services for young user, the Youngster project focuses on services that use the context of the user, thus adapting to his/her current situation. In this article we present a platform for mobile services that is developed in this project. This platform includes a component that allows services to access context information in a uniform and easy manner. Furthermore, the article presents location- and context-aware services that are based on this platform.
